This upstairs master started out simple, with minimal character, and not much personality. It had good bones and beautiful light, but it lacked warmth and intention.

The goal was to turn it into a space that felt calm, lived-in, and quietly elevated. I began by layering in soft, neutral tones and natural textures to give it depth. A mix of linen, warm wood, and subtle pattern brought the space to life, while thoughtful lighting added that cozy, end-of-day glow.

The final result feels collected and comforting - proof that even the simplest room can become something special with a few well-chosen details and a clear point of view.
